About

Opened at the end of 2001, the Fernando Pradilla Gallery aims to promote and disseminate contemporary art that is developed in Latin America and Spain, acting as a bridge of knowledge of the artistic expressions of both continents.

Since the beginning the strategy is based on the identification of artists, both emerging, mid-career and historical, and the programming of individual and collective exhibitions in Madrid and other Latin American cities. The gallery participates in international art fairs in Latin America, Asia, Europe, and promotes the representation of its artists in biennials, prizes, competitions and exhibitions in national and international art centers.

In 2007 the gallery opened Espacio Proyectos in order to offer the possibility to independent curators and artists to present experimental and research proposals. In this space a permanent exchange between artists, critics, curators and art collectors is promoted
